
Practice Policies, Appointments, and Cancellations

CANCELLATION LESS THAN 48 HOURS
Please remember to cancel or reschedule 48 hours in advance. You will be responsible for a fee of $65 if cancellation is less than 48 hours. If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours but more than 3 hours before your scheduled session will be charged a late fee of $65.
Cancellations made within 3 hours of your appointment or if you do not show will be charged the full no-show fee of $100.
Please note that I do make exceptions to this policy if I am able to reschedule you for the same week in an open time slot. This policy is in place because I hold a specific time slot for each client, and short notice leaves me unable to offer that slot to another client.
NO SHOW
Anytime you fail to attend a scheduled appointment without giving appropriate prior notice of cancellation, you will be charged $100 for the no show session. The credit card information or other payment information you previously provided will be used to process this payment. By providing us with your credit card information or booking an appointment, you consent to this policy. Multiple no-shows will result in the termination of therapy.

SESSION TIME
The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 45-60 minutes. It is up to you, however, to determine the length of time of your sessions. Requests to change session length of time needs to be discussed with the therapist in order for time to be scheduled in advance.
PAYMENT
Payment is due at time of service. Please ensure that you have sufficient funds for any credit card on file. If using an HSA card, you must have a back-up card on file.
If significant balance is owed (2 sessions or more), scheduling of the next session will be postponed until payment is made.
INSURANCE COVERAGE
It is your responsibility to be aware of your insurance coverage and any co-pays that may be owed at time of service. If you have questions regarding insurance coverage, you must reach out to your insurance company directly.
